This is an UPGRADED version of the FREE Virtual Articulator that included the functionality to allow for protrusive and excursive movements. Simply select the Hinge Axis to Open the bite or protrude the jaw. Select the condyle on the size of Excursion to rotate the jaw into it’s excursive movements.
The parameters for this articulator are meant to emulate that of the Hanau-Mate® articulator used by many labs and teaching institutions. That includes Bennett angle of 15° and Protrusive angle of 30°. Use the Transform Tool on the Pivot itself to adjust angles if you want this to function as a true ‘Semi-Adjustable’ Articulator. But that is an advanced approach.
