3D printing has been used in Dentistry for quite some time. However, until recently, the cost of entry was prohibitive for most offices and even many labs. It was something that was outsourced for cost containment. However, now that printers are becoming more cost effective and more tailored to dental specific needs, more and more dental professionals are integrating them into their workflow.
